I'm sometimes okay with vacations, but it depends how stressed I am to begin with. My family is going to Greece this year, which I've never been to before, but the fact that it means I get to learn a new language, as well as my interest in Greek mythology, means that I'm okay with it. However, last year we went on a caravan holiday, and since I was stressed out then anyway (I suffer from panic disorder and general anxiety disorder, so I get stressed and nervous a lot), I ended up having a total meltdown while packing, and again on the first couple of nights (after that I calmed down, but was still miserable until we left).

It's what we call 'holiday' outside the US. I'm not a sunworshipper and prefer to try and relax at home.Anytime I do go somewhere I have to plan it meticulously to make it less stressful.

I haven't been on holiday since I was an adult , I can't see the point . I don't want to spend hundreds of pounds to lie on a beach and burn , I don't like people and all the usual holiday resorts would be packed , I'd spend the whole time worrying about getting lost. I don't like change . Having said that IF I had surplus money one day I would like to go on a Gypsy caravan holiday , the horse drawn carriages around the new forest or a holiday with my dog, hiking in the countryside and camping . It's all dreams though because realistically I'm not sure I could cope with the stress of change and being somewhere I didnt know . I would definatly be the sort of person who went to the same place each year , but it would never be a poolside or sunbathing type holiday.

I'd give up an arm and a leg to go to London, but other than that, I think that I'd rather spend my "vacations" in Langley, where I live.

I can't even go to a restaurant without wondering how all my things at home are doing (not like they can get up and move or anything, lol). I really freak out if the kids are at home being babysat, but I think that part is just a mom thing.

I really like camping, I am fine on short holidays now, though I hate journeys as I get car sick. I just like to make a special holiday routine so I still know roughly what i am doing when.

I love vacations. I would love to go back to London and I also would like to go to Disney World, Australia, New York City, Amsterdam. Traveling is my favorite thing.

I am going to Spokane in less than two weeks and see the Benny and Joon locations again. My parents are meeting me at the airport and I want to take them to Fergusons where they filmed several of the scenes. I love Spokane and miss the city a lot.

When I went to California (we live in the UK) with my family, I spent more than a few days in the hotel room sitting infront of the TV when everyone else went out. I personally have / had severe social anxiety issues especially with crowded places. It was fun having the maid come in and make the beds whilst I tried to phase her out.

I like to go to out of the way spots in the Carib that aren't crowded. Island time, mon. It really relieves the stress.

I always hated going on vacation as a kid. Firstly becase we never went on real vacations (we only went places to vist relatives or to see my brother's Nany inagration and some tiger cruise thing). And we never wanted to go places that I wanted to go and I was forced to go. We went by car becasue my parents were so cheap at the time.

We once got the tinest little motor home you could imagine and would take it to a campground for the weekend. I hated it and screamed and screamed until we went home because I hated it so much. The motor home was really only for one person but my parents shoved as many people as possible into it and forced me in there too. I also don't like living like a refugee.

My mother used to tell me that we would do fun real vacations such as Disney World and such but they never happened because of my "behavior".

I like thinking about going on them, and hate being on them. Make sense? I don't think so.

I love most vacations (particularly the ones headed for out of the country) but I HATE camping with a passion. I don't understand how people can stand being far from resources such as a healthy, civil toilet for more than half a day. I also find it annoying to sleep in tents, particularly when the ground underneath is full of rocks and stones.

If you ever decide to go to London, I would like to see you.
