Difficult one for me, do not have trouble making friends, because of my special interests, some people when it comes to hobbies change them all the time.

So a friendship will last a few years, and it can become awkward, the relationship becomes superficial, they only come to see me, for help because of what I can help them with, not because they want a friendship false promises about coming to see me etc it never happens.

Taken me most of my life to realise this sadly.

Yeah it can be hard sometimes because other people don't care about us it's really hurtful yeah they are silly to be make fun of me I hate it when they do it so I didn't understand it about their personality is most important

Yes some people, just do not accept us for who we are, we can only do so much to try and conform to their way of thinking, it is difficult when it is a strange way to think, seems unnatural, I always question people why they think the way they do, to get better clarification and greater understanding, we are still human just like they are, and we all make mistakes Autism or no Autism just our mistakes seem to be greater and not ignored.

I was the most popular in my lifetime when I was 13 because I was a die-hard Beatles Fan and everybody loves The Beatles. I was asked to sing songs by my peers and they asked, "Can you draw this Beatle for us?" It was fun while it lasted, though I've moved on to a lot of different things since than.

thinking about it you'd be surprised how many people are interested in you when you love video games to the point where its weird, you seem to have something in common with most people and playing video games seems to allow them to want to be friends (or at least play with you more) although it doesn't create lasting friends, video games are all you have and you don't actually connect most of the time.

I wish i could make friends in real life, online its kinda easy cos i can think about what im going to say, so i appear to be funny, good a jokes and a sort of well rounded person, where as in real life im a guy who makes jokes too much to cover up for insecurity and social struggle and is pretty quiet otherwise (you know how every classroom or group has that one "weird kid", im that guy in my case). jokes are surprisingly effect ways to stall the conversation so you can think of what to say next.....who knew?

I can hold my own discussing DC and Marvel Graphic Novels.
One of my offices has Marvel artwork drawn by folks I've known over the years.

Beatles not so much now or the 60's. I was tricked by classmates into believing Elanore Rigby was a new student in our school.
