July 2013 for a discectomy. Still have pain now unfortunately but that's a possible side effect from the surgery. Not that it's invasive in my left though.

12 years ago, when I had a small operation on my ears. I came home the same day.

Fortunately I haven't been in hospital since.

Today, because I'm a murderer!

Sorry, I saw the title and had to make a stupid joke. Nurses say they stab people with needles; surgeons say they slice people open; I'm a housekeeper, and I'm a paid assassin of germs!

April, surgery for a bleeding ulcer. They kept me for three days because I was so anemic. They gave me three units of blood.

The last time I was in a hospital was in June for a social group. The last time I was in the hospital for an operation was last year, when I dislocated my jaw and had to have it put back under sedation.

Almost 5 years ago, I went to the ER with severe pelvic pain. Tests couldn't find anything and the doctor started talking about taking my appendix out. I wasn't having that so I ripped all the tubes off and went home.

It was in November of 2014 I had to have an abscess lanced. It was really painful, enough to drive to the ER.

I had a good time in the hospital, in the ER, to be exact; it's weird. The surgery itself lasted maybe 5 minutes. The rest of the time, I was pumped full of opioids, so I was just relaxed and laughing at the most random things. I was even making chemistry jokes with the ER staff, which they all got. Because I was in no condition to drive, my friends picked me up that night, and drove me home. We drank champagne to celebrate my recovery; I drank a fake one my friends made for me, out of Sprite and yellow food coloring; I couldn't have alcohol since the opioids were still in my system. (Why not just have sparkling grape juice? It's funnier this way.) I took a taxi back to the hospital and picked up my car next day.

For myself? Right before I moved out to this god forsaken desert to get some xanax! I've been there since a few times visiting relatives. I really do need to start seeing a doctor again, years and years.

It was earlier this year due to me having a blood clot in my leg.
