No comments at the moment about your parents, but the urine test. Inability to produce a specimen is a real psychological phenomenon, and I think HR should be willing to accept and arrange for a blood test instead.
Supposedly "situation is resolved" means you were able to move forward on the employment thing. Glad to hear it.

You cant expect everyone to reinforce you. If you are unable to learn to cope, how are you going to survive? I barely had anyone to stand by me, so I had to learn the hard way and find my own solutions. I have bad agoraphobia, but have found ways to deal with it.

Many people, including NT's have issues with doing the urine test when there's someone with them. Fortunately where I live, HR departments are going away from the urine test and going with a cheek swab for drug testing, as that can be done in the office, and mailed to a lab for the actual testing. The last few times I've had drug testing for a job, it was the swab thing so there was no drinking a lot of water and getting to the lab before your bladder feels like bursting.
