My special interests aren't as intense as some other aspies, and I have other interests as well and they change a lot, so I'm not sure if they'd be considered "special interests", but here goes:

In order of intensity:

1. Politics (mostly Canada and US)
2. The Sims
3. Cats
4. Travel
5. Psychology

Some of my less intense interests include the bands Great Big Sea and Spirit of the West, cider, swimming and more!

I have a lot of special interests. Fandoms, science (the knowledge gained from it; I can't do a lab report to save my life), and writing.

I don't have typical Aspie-like level of interest but I do have casual interests which are:-

British humour
British politics
Arriva (a bus company)
Country cottages
Local gossip
Writing stories (either about typical family life, or creepypastas)
The Simpsons
Twins and triplets
Abandoned buildings

Mine have varied over time. Music has been a constant, always listening and often playing. It's tough as I get songs stuck in my head, and I mean really stuck, and it's a bit of a problem.

I was really into plastic modeling for a few years; mostly aircraft. That was lots of fun and very artistic, I felt. I'm super into auto racing now; formula 1 but also GT cars and I really enjoy German automobiles. Mixed martial arts, enjoy watching it very much (I think it's an amazing sport). I really enjoyed the tour de France too. Now I'm reading a lot about autism spectrum and Asperger's, and well as other non-fiction. I love films and quality TV programming too. And I love animals, my cats and my outdoor bird community. Oh, and medicine/science, and history/philosophy of science.

So there is some continuity, but also variety. But my interests are always quite "intense."

Don't have one. It's great! I don't miss them one bit.

varies I guess

I really like pro-sports and following stats and such, I really like following politics and current events which are basically reality TV now. I dunno, I wish I was more impressive and something I could share especially when so many people automatically hate you for having an opinion the latter.

I hate it all, I really do, it's a compulsion to fill an unfillable void

Encyclopaedias. I used to read them all day long.

While I have had other "special interests" too, I don't really feel like getting into them right now.

I've had many special interests over the years (Airplanes, Programming, Mountainbiking, Astronomy etc) but most of them are just an ends to a means now.

Currently i'm into two:

1. Prepping: i've always had an interest of outdoors (neglected too much and i wanted an excuse to leave the house) so prepping was the way to go. I try to learn something new every day and today i learned how to make waterproof matches. Another reason is that we have a pretty weak preparedness in Swedish society since we pretty much dismantled the civil defence after the end of the cold war.

2. Interactive data visualization. I'm totally into this and are playing around with new ideas, like using interactive visualizations in D3 (Javascript) to interact dynamically with a .Net program which allows you to extend the functionality beyond JS. I have not seen anyone else do this - ever.
