Do YOU Think Asperger's Hasn't Been Depicted Well On Film?

In films I have seen so far, people with Aspergers tend to be bullied while being fragile sympathetic beings. That second part didn't sit with me. The autists in the area tended to be bullied in school and were pretty disagreeable people who were sensitive to things people didn't mean in a bad way. Most of the people I met in a support group, didn't want to change their attitude towards their environment and expected NTs to hand feed them with pleasantries. Utterly narcissistic of them if you ask me.

You need to find another support group because that support is supporting bad attitudes Nobody should expect people to hand them stuff but give and take instead of all give to the NT world is a reasonable request.

People get bullied for a lot of reasons for bieng arrogent, short, physically unattactive, and bieng percieved as a pushover and bieng niave. Autistics are often socially niave, those exact words are not used in the DSM or ICD but incorporated in the broader social interactions and communications deficits. People often view the world based on thier interactions with others. If they were often punched, had there heads stuffed down toilets, gaslighted etc for whatever reason they are often going to see these the actions of others as hostile whether they were or not. A few after bieng told often they are worthless or bad humans are going to ovecompensate by becoming Autistic supremicists.
