Another one with poor sense of direction here. I have lived here over 20 years ,and yet can't explain to people how to get to nearby places. To avoid embarrassment if asked for directions I've resorted to saying I'm a stranger in town.

Yes, and Hyperlexia. It is a frustrating paradox. People around me are often perplexed by my inability to do things others do easily. I get "You're too smart for this" a lot.

I am always getting lost even in my own home town. I've lived here 30 years!
