I've heard it in person, from a high school teacher of all people, right before graduation. He thought I was going to major in "something artistic" and I told him I would major in English, and he "joked" "I said 'artistic,' not 'autistic.'" I actually considered taking him to court at the time.

I absolutely cannot tolerate it. There have been instances where I'd be crying for several days at least because of what some idiot said online. And if that makes me too sensitive or whatever, then GOOD! :evil

I can't stand injustice or intolerance on the internet. can't stand it anywhere, but especially on the internet which is like some kind of filthy bacterial breeding ground for ignorance and intolerance. I almost never hear it even mentioned offline. Probably because I'm in school anymore, which is another proverbial breeding ground.

I'v been called a "sperg" online before. It does bother me, because it's implying that we're inherently stupid or lesser. If anyone ever said something like, "God you're so autistic" to me as an insult in person, I'd look them in the eye and say, "Yes I am, and I have a verbal IQ of 134, how about you?" and just watch their reaction.
