I would eat only one big meal as a kid due to being an extremely picky eater who couldn't cook & my mom hated cooking special meals for me so one big meal was all I got that I would eat usually. People including docs were worried I would die when I was real little because of how little I ate due to my pickiness. Nowadays that I'm living with my girlfriend, I'm usually eating 3 meals a day & I sometimes binge eat on snacks. I gained alot of weight since I moved in with her.

Yeah I also tend to be really picky and stick to pretty simple and cheap stuff. I mean I can cook, it's just that you shouldn't expect me to make anything too fancy or complex. Or good.

Geez I can't imagine how rough it must be to have an eating disorder. I mean I have a fast metabolism, so I just need to eat a lot to stay at my weight. I can't even imagine how hard it'd be exercising all the time. I get the struggles with gaining weight though. Like for me it is really hard to gain and keep any weight at all. It took me a year to get from 135 to 150 pounds. Even then I'm like 6'3", so I am pretty underweight.

Did you know that autism caused you to be underweight? Yes autism affects metabolism.

When I was a kid and I was chubby I was aware that there was something about both having Asperger's and being heavy that can be seen as much worse than just being heavy, and it made me so sad. Being a chubby Aspie and being aware of how that looked caused me to worry a lot about weight.

The insecurity of having Asperger's can make body image issues worse.
