Whilst I accept that marijuana certainly can be dangerous, I do believe that it can have significant benefits IF used responsibly. From a personal perspective, problems have arisen in the past because of the type of weed/skunk I was smoking/eating. The THC levels were far too high, and I was left feeling even more confused and paranoid than usual.

I believe the quality is far greater in Amsterdam, so I am most excited about my trip in August.

I am still of the view that, on the whole, cannabis is no more harmful than nicotine and alcohol. Thus, I am a vehement advocate of its legalisation.

All I can say Jake is do your research , you clearly know what doesn't work for you which is always a plus point.

I don't know how accurate this article is but it might point you in the right direction.

Edit: I just had a look at the current menu for the 'Grey Area' and they don't stock any of the strains listed in the article so you may have to shop around.

Thanks for the link, Ferris.

In which case, I will have to visit some other coffee shops, too. :D

I have just been reliably informed that:

Grey Area is a good shop , good weed , run by Americans but have a short opening time.
Utopia has good weed
Arabica Lounge is a comfy shop
Barney's is over commercialized but have nice milkshakes

Be wary of Devils Harvest weed , strong and sleepy

Here is a good link for Cafe Menus

I also read that Sativa dominant plants are the strains that might be of some benefit to tokers on the spectrum

Nope, THC cannabis starts up my paranoid psychosis of my comorbid of schizoaffective, don't really wanna touch that again.

But the alternative Cannibis 'maybe' (Forgot the ingredient name, help?) Might be beneficial, might not to.
Don't wanna gamble with my life as I have been to the hospital too many times and don't wanna go back.

I've tried mushrooms, LSD and some other stuff, didn't really have any effect on me, no reason to gamble that also.

Within a religious context, visionary experiences have rules and can be tested. It's most confusing, to hardline atheists.

A "schizoaffective" person reports the same basic experiences as a medium. Actually, go look at a medical book, and tell me whether you can differentiate between these symptoms and a mystical experience.

They just want to believe they are damaged and leave it, at that.

For instance, what if you saw someone limping, or he had a speech impediment, or a stim. And, you attribute his tick to some poltergeist. They don't want to be told that. They don't want a religious explanation, and that is how you would tend to categorize a drug trip.

What kind of help are you looking for?

Mental release, examine yourself under a microscope? inspiration from a muse? Is a spirit guide supposed to manifest something, physically? One of the things, which worries me about dabblers, is the lack of a discrete purpose. It's not that I'm uncomfortable with the subject matter.
