Who's Got A Sense Of Humour Here
I find that by being honest but in an ironic voice, I can make people laugh. Sometimes I tell people stuff about things that have happened to me and I don't think they actually think I'm telling the truth so they find it very funny. I guess it's easier to make jokes about horrific episodes of your life than to be serious about it. I used to say lots of sarcastic things like "You're well funny" in a monotone voice and that got laughs but I felt mean so now I use more irony than sarcasm. A lot of people can't seem to tell the difference though so lots of peple hate me.
People laugh when I have rants about things. I love ranting and being centre of attention for bite sized chunks of time. But then I start getting self-conscious.
My least favourite thing is when people say "You're so funny" and all you can say is "Yeeeeaaaahhhh..." or "I am aren't I?" or just run away.
I don't think it's possible to sound funny on Internet message boards - it's only possible to read things in a funny way.
