Very interesting observation! While I haven't found this to be the case for all individuals with AS, I think you're on to an intriguing trend there. I certainly do adore people who have the guts to say, "gee, I don't know" intead of hazarding a guess and stubbornly sticking by it.
i never claimed that i knew, when i didn't know. and some people already tried to teach their secret to success; never to agree that you don't know. i think they're just making fools of themselves.

When I finally dredge up proof, they tend to get mad at me, and claim that my proof supports their standpoint. At which time I get confused and let it slide. People have every reason to trust me, as I make a big deal of admitting my mistakes.

"Everyone loves the dolphin. A bitter shark - emerging from it's cold depths - doesn't stand a chance." This is hyperbol.
I dunno... I'm kind of the other way around. If I am wrong about something, or think I am right, I will argue it, but afterwards I will also analyze the overall picture, and will mainly analyze myself and where I was wrong in a situation, where my facts could have been mixed up, and I finally find a reason why I reacted the way that I did and apologize, explaining the initial reason for my reaction.
But... I'm beginning to think analyzing myself is an obsession of mine
