Here in Australia, not many people know about Autism Speaks apart from those who work at organisations about autism and probably some parents of autistic kids too. And people like me, heh. We have "Light it up Blue" that happens in the city (Perth) every April 2.

I like the puzzle piece. So much so that I got a tattoo of one on my right wrist - in bright green.

I am a human, not a puzzle to be solved.

As far as “alternative” symbols that I have seen none of them have provoked a reaction other then I am glad they are not the puzzle piece.
