There's a brief window of an 8/9 year period from which I can listen to stuff from, be it rock, jazz, folk, pop. Anything before 1964/5 sounds too old fashioned and anything beyond 1972/73 feels devoid of something, I'm not sure what the word is, integrity? Not quite that, it's an essence of something or other that I can't put my finger on.
