This is called showing support for the OP and her dilemma as well as observations that we have in common. I believe they call this making a positive connection with another human being with the same problem. I believe that's what a forum was created for.

Does that help you understand better?

I myself have a bit of an obsession with money. I feel like the more I have, the more of a security blanket I have against death. I'm not that afraid of death or anything though (more like how I could die). Maybe it's just an illusion...
