I forgot to mention, I wore a mouthguard for a few months before I accidentally broke it. It didn't seem to help at all, so I didn't bother replacing it.

Geez, that is expensive. Glad you've found an alternative.

I clench my back teeth together a fair bit. However, my dentist hasn't noticed any deterioration there.

I've just got back from the dentist today and she told me I probably grind my teeth in my sleep because they look flatter than they should and I keep getting pain in my half finished root canal (no nerve so it shouldn't be hurting). Husband told me that he can hear me grinding my teeth in bed, that made me all squeamish!

I never grind my teeth. Occassionally, I gently clench my teeth in response to those periodic pesky things in life!
