Yes, my whole life I see my surroundings unclear, I must make an effort to see clearly. NTs seem to see clearly naturally. However, when I am under stress even making an effort doesn't help anymore.

As a nice metaphysical side note:
What happens to me regularly is that while looking/searching for item, my conciousness has identified/found the item before I actually see it.

I don't know if it is autism, it could be AD(H)D related too.

Mirror neurons are about feeling information from people, it has nothing to do with visual information. A lot of autistics have excessive mirror neuron activity.
