I have a very long assoc. with Dentistry and have spend many years studying this phenomenon. A dental appliance can in some mild cases reduce or stop bruxism, however there are MANY MANY cases where it does not.

The etiology of Bruxism/Clenching is multifactorial and very complex. There are an enormous number of treatments out there, many of which have no scientific basis. Caution is advised.

Thanks! Got it. :D Mine certainly doesn’t stop me grinding my teeth as it is in the bottom of a cupboard somewhere. I thought it worked whilst I used it but I am less stressed now so grind my teeth less anyway.
