I think I would be comfortable with it if we had clear boundaries. People touching my food, clothes, and other things or being loud at night would drive me nuts.

^^2nd People who live alone can easily get in the habit of leaving a clean-up for later. Some people like to let dishes soak, too, as within reason, it does save time. Out of dozens, I only had one roommate who cleaned every pot as soon as it was empty.
Working in my own shop, I work fastest if I don't put everything away very often. In a shared space, we have to tidy up a lot more because obviously, others can't remember where we left things.

It is extremely difficult for me to live with roommates. I have done it plenty of times but now I don't think I would be able to.

Living with roommates is very hard as far as ASD goes. For me, though, depression has become the reason to tough it out. When I have lived alone I have just slept all the time and gotten more suicidal.

ive never lived with "roommates" but ive lived with flatmates for the past 5 yrs. It can be actual hell but it can also sometimes be fun.

my flatmates atm are two very sweet girls. they are polite, clean and dont make too much noise. a dream in a sense. they sometimes bang the doors and it drives me up the wall but i think they are the best flatmates ive had.

Lats yr in london i used to live with the right opposite aka freshers' hell. I was in my final yr of undergrad n they were in their first yr. imagine constant partying, drugs and absolutely disgusting mess in the kitchen. it was a nightmare. i escapade in the second semester and the new flat was better except my neighbours used to have loud sex at like 4 am and i could hear their every single word from the thin walls which draw me insane. london in general is very loud, i hated living there.

I've had flatmates and I honestly preferred it. I always thought I'd like living alone but I become depressed and suicidal very quickly if I don't have other people around. I don't have any friends so having a roommate at least provides some amount of human interaction on a daily basis. I will say I've had pretty good luck with roommates, though. I've never had issues with loud or inconsiderate people.
