some have higher % DNA from other homo species.
That was what I thought of too when I saw the thread title.

I wonder if it's 'only' neanderthal DNA or if there are others too in human DNA. Either way it's a cool fact IMO 8)

There is some Denisovian DNA lingering in the human race. Especially among New Guinea people and southeast Asians. As with Neanderthals its vanishingly small trace amounts.

What I mean specifically is this...

Some people are like owls, some like wolves, some like robins, some like mice. All humans have their niche. I feel that is precisely why learning social rules is so hard. What works with a sparrow will not with a platypus.

I assume that you're speaking figuratively. We are all of the same zoological species. But in the social realm human individuals do fall into different roles, analogous to ecological niches.

I can relate, and I don't do that often.

I am consistently called self-centered because of this, but I honestly lack the ability to notice others almost entirely unless they pose a threat or are closely associated with me (family/friends). This translates badly with coworkers, peers, bosses, etc. They perceive me as being uncaring but in reality I'm just very bad at faking cues out to them to make it seem like I care. No one cares, but people are good at making it seem like they do. My talk style, no matter how organized or eloquent it is, is impossible for almost anyone to read apparently. Or at least, I can NEVER get my real ideas across, like I'm trapped in some bubble or on some chaotic constantly-storming island.

Despite the fact that we may miss them, Simile and Metaphor is an Autistic person's closest friends when conveying the severity of ideas which we can't normally get across through the body language we lack.

No, I for one, don't. I suspect there are numerous subspecies, though I imagine the genome differences are fairly scant. In terms of Aspies, I imagine a neurological subgroup that has always existed and has always been necessary to the advancement of the species.

Genetic variation is natural to any population. Where you draw the line between different species is kind of arbitrary. Although sometimes I feel like another species.
