Sometimes when you read things like that it pertains more to those with more significant autism rather than those with mild autism.
That's what I do, I sometimes cross my arms other than that you could say I walk with my arms just sort of hovering with movements as I turn or do something.
I didn't answer the poll. I found the question interesting though. I walk nearly everyday and today I observed other people walking. It seems it's common for people to move their entire arms from the shoulder joint when walking.
I on the other hand notice that my upper arms stay nearly motionless all but fixed to the sides of my torso while walking but I swing my lower arms at the elbow joints back and forth. Therefore, half of my arm is motionless the other half....in motion. I'm half and half I guess?
Kinda hard to swing your hands when they're in your pockets.
I'm pretty much the same. I usually keep my hands in my pockets while walking. But when they aren't in my pockets, I usually swing my arms I think, but I'm not sure since I don't pay attention to it all the time.
