Opposite for me. Ever since I was a child, I have always had this weird thing with my knees. If something touches them when they are unbent, I get this sensation like I will pass out. No doctor has ever been able to tell me what it is or look into it further. "I was just extra sensitivity because she is autistic" is usually what I got from doctors. Anyway, can't wear anything that touches my knees.

My son would agree. My possibly-NT son wears only pants and long sleeves (age 5.5). His cousin was/is the same (to a lesser degree in his teens). Summer we hit a lot of 90s here, so my NT husband bought my son light-weight fabric for the pants and long sleeves. But my son wears shorts and short sleeves pajamas. ??? My Aspie-like daughter is in dresses and skirts only. For the life of me, I can't get either in jeans.

I don't wear shorts for social reasons, and I get cold. I'm fairly naïve --- I'd walk around without clothes b/c it's just a body, but there are these social rules apparently and it's tiresome to ask my NT husband if what I am wearing is appropriate, so I go with what I know is conservative.
