My social skills may be better or worse, but my confidence in them has slowly eroded from PTSD. I feel like Sheldon Cooper, but without a posse to help out when I'm out of my depth. I used to drive a cab - now I can't sleep if I deal with strangers for more than an hour a day.

I certainly have greater social opportunities now than I used to have. I think my skills have improved a lot from years ago.

Very similar to me, but my peak / start of regression was in my early to mid-40s.
