Quite often, I see the absolute beauty in the things that other people miss. I see rhe beauty of homemade mechanical creativity.
The wierd and wonderful that God has allowed us to see.

I cried when I saw a 7mm narrow gauge model where someone young (By the look of it) had converted a 00 gaue loco into 7mm narrow gauge and put it on Ebay, and the price was so low that it wasn't worth selling it... And to most people the creation looked a mess, but I thought it was beautiful. I LOVED it as it is. I cried as I had no money and no Ebay account. I wanted to bid ad bid to make the price go up high and then buy it if I could because I valued it so much! The fear was that someone would buy it cheap just to get the chassis and scrap the creative efforts of the builder.
I tried to get my brother to buy it for me and hoped I could find some way to pay him back but I couldn't convince him. He didn't see its value as it is.

I was just in tears as I type. It was beautiful!

I remember knowing a mother who I thought had the ugliest, weirdest looking baby I'd ever seen. People used to joke that it looked like a little monster, but she clearly adored her kid. When she lovingly looked at her hideous child I imagine she felt a similar way to when you looked at your 7mm narrow gauge model.

Aspies experience significant stress in their lives and this can lead to trauma.

But sometimes trauma can be released either through therapy or internally by observing wonderful scenes, listening to music or a thousand different spontaneous events. When this happens a connection is made. And the individual normally exhibits the signs of stress/trauma abatement in the following way:
* Crying with soulful tears
* Feeling of joy, pleasure, strength
* Spontaneous shaking, trembling, and shivering
* Deep spontaneous breathes
* Ecstatic and blissful states
* Sense of competency

that is enlightening and resonates with my experience. but can you tell me what is the nature of the "connection"?
