I do. I can rarely communicate them in a way that others understand them, though. Except when I am talking to fellow autistics - at least some of them, as I grasp patterns on an intuitive level, rather than always going through pure logic.

I can be very logical, but when I feel my mind is grasping something deeply meaningful, it is always through intuition. Also, this meaning is usally expressed (for me) in images, not language, so this creates an other barrier in communication I guess.

I am interested in languages as systems (or patterns, to stay at the topic), and foreign languages are one of my special interests, but despite this I don't trust them at all.

My deep inner mind where my long term memory is thinks very well in pictures.
But languages is not my thing. My Mum however thinks like me but languages is her special interest, (English and western languages).

It sounds like I have quite a lot in common with your Mum then. :D

Do you sometimes get spontaneous pictures? Not quite like a hallucination because you know it is coming from your mind, but also not under your voluntary control? When I think very deeply about a situation sometimes it happens that a picture appears (often it is animated) that at first sight has nothing to do with the thing I have been thinking about, but then I later reallise it is the exact, hidden structure of that thing? Usually I am on a bus-train-some sort of vehicle when this happens.

Young men will see visions. Old men will dream dreams.
Yes. I get both. God gives me visions. Then at a later date I walk right into them and seemingly impossible situations suddenly become possible.
