It SCREAMS out at the top of it's lungs that "this bloke is ten pounds of autistic in a five pound bag!! ! ! !"

Tell it to "shut up already!" because we all get it ! ! ! !

Just kidding.

But seriously

I cant even imagine how a profile pic could make a person "look autistic".

Your's implies that you are into old fashioned trains, and it kinda implies that you're a Brit (because its a British type locomotive I believe). And are probably male. And maybe you grew up on Thomas the Tank Engine.

To be honest - a person who watches the Big Bang Theory- might be reminded of Sheldon Leonard who is famously obsessed with trains. And that character has aspie/autistic characteristics. But I wouldn't go far as to say that it "makes you look autistic". And even if it did I don't know why you would give a darn anyway.

I did grow up on Thomas but they were the early books. I met the man who wrote them about 20 years ago. I didn't speak to him as I was shy, and he was at a stand for children, and I was an adult, but I smiled at him and he smiled back. :) A nice elderly gentleman. Reverend William Awdry.
The early books were lovely. I have a visual mind so the pictures in them are ace! They are soo lovely!
I actually liked trains before I read his books (Actually had the books read to me), but his books with whoever the artist was who drew those lovely scenes were an inspiration.

My first thought is: Is that really kraftie? I think, yes, because why would someone go through the work of finding an amateur photo for pretend. So then I think, good for you to be "out"! And I see the unusual background: metal and busy, outdoor gear? for some reason I think of milking cows. You have a shrewd (odd) "professor" look about you (or else the bloke you chose as your profile pic does). :P

I like it, by the way. It has a happy look without being in your face.

Mountain Goat - Yours says nerdy but steam trains are both the poster child of nerdiness and popular at the same time.

What does mine suggest? (other than that I'm a piggy :D )

Yours implies that you are an interesting person... A likeable person because of your fondness to lovely pigs. :)

I (kindly) thought of your picture when I posted - the special interest pictures and usernames.

Aww.
The picture is of my train number 1 called Ruthy. It started out as a Smallbrook Studios Clio kit in its standard form but has had several improvements from there, including a different chassis.

Your last picture looked like you were a psyciatrist or someone like that.

It took me a while to get used to your new photo. I initially thought I had lost you from the site as my mind hones onto the pictures first rather then the words of the name.

Uhmm. What does the picture say? Well. It is you. Photographs of who you are. You look approachable. :) Safe to be with. :)
I tend not to notice faces so much so it is hard for me to describe people, so is difficult to say much more.

It’s me, all right.

I was riding on a NYC subway train.

I am not sure who Frank Finlay is. If I saw a photo of Frank and a photo of you I would have to stare at both for a while to compare as I tend to have bouts of prosopragnosia on occasions.

He was an actor whom I liked. He reminds me of Peter Wyngarde in relation to his hairstyle and dress sense.

The latter was in TV series in the 60's and early 70's - Department S and Jason King.

See, all these folks with people photos. I was going to ask if you were Frank Finley but see he would have been 89 years old today (and you are 60 and alive). Why Frank Finlay for you?

Despite him being listed as a supporting actor in a lot of films I have seen over the decades I didn't know who he was either.

But now that I have just now googled him...yeah, you DO look like Frank Finlay.

WHAT?

That pic IS Frank Findlay, and not you?

Never mind.

Is the photograph of you or Mr Finley?
