There are so-called “minorities” who are prejudiced—prejudice is not the sole reserve of the “majority.”
I’m a white, cisgendered male who is not immune to prejudice.
Neither is a black trans woman.
Prejudice is universal.
White, cisgender, straight male here.
Even if I am related to Lincoln's first vice president (true story), I can find myself falling into prejudicial mindsets at times. The trick is to acknowledge the tendency and resist it. It's entirely possible that OP doesn't have these tendencies, however. Not sure if that has anything to do with AS vs. NT, but it's plausible that the resistance to social programming which many Aspies exhibit might include resisting endemic racism in a place where it exists.
I really didn't understand what prejudice was until I understood enough about social interaction (probably in grade school) that I began to figure it out. I didn't finish figuring it out until college.
I can believe some school shooters might be Aspies, though. When I was being viciously picked on in middle school, I seriously thought about taking revenge on everyone more than once. Since I had and have a fairly strong sense of right and wrong, mass murder always ended up being the wrong choice. I can believe that some less sane individuals or those with less impulse control would be capable of shooting up or blowing up a school with everyone in it. In their minds, the school with everyone in it might come to represent the root of all injustice in their world and the Aspie tendency for moral outrage might cause tragic consequences.
