Is my second son autistic
Kraftiekortie thank you very much for your opinion on my son. What I wish to tell you regarding vaccine is that its not equal if you get 1 shot, 3 shots, or 15 shots, i think that increase in number of vaccine shots led to increase in autism rates (and other sideeffects), but that just my opinion based on anegdotal evidence from people who reported it. You can see it in Vaxxed 2 documentary for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UWNySwlDLg

Release of Vaxxed sequel prompts fears dangerous propaganda will spread again
Official figures compiled by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show that in the first nine months of this year some 1,249 measles cases were reported in the US – the largest incidence of the disease in almost 30 years. Of those, one in 10 were hospitalized.
The explosion of cases of an illness once considered eliminated from the US has alarmed medical experts. They predict children will die unless anti-vaccination fears among parents are assuaged.
Running to 92 minutes, Vaxxed II bears many of the hallmarks of the original Vaxxed movie. The film, which the Guardian has previewed, is slickly produced and carries considerable dramatic punch – making its message all the more potent.
Those individuals, who were filmed recounting their experiences on the bus, now form the core of Vaxxed II. The film makes no effort to address the scientific evidence that the parents’ experiences of autism in their children have nothing to do with vaccines, or the coincidence that symptoms of autism often appear between 12 and 24 months of age, exactly when the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine is given.
In the absence of such context, the stories told on the bus and aired in Vaxxed II are heartbreaking, harrowing and deeply unnerving. The families’ narratives are accompanied by disturbing footage of non-verbal autistic children. There is a gallery of photographs of babies who died before their second birthdays – the film claims without offering any evidence that their deaths were caused by vaccines.
In a later section of the film, parents who have decided not to vaccinate their children speak to camera. They relate how their kids have never had a day’s illness or needed a course of antibiotics, and the film-makers imply they are also more intelligent than their vaccinated neighbors’ children.
The other character who appears prominently in Vaxxed II is Andrew Wakefield, the disgraced British former physician who was the first to generate public doubts about MMR. In 1998 Wakefield published a paper in the Lancet based on the histories of a mere eight children that put fear into the hearts of many parents by suggesting a possible link between MMR and autism.
In 2010 the UK’s General Medical Council stripped Wakefield of his license to practice as a doctor on grounds of “dishonesty” in his vaccine work as well as multiple ethical breaches in the way he enlisted children to the study. Wakefield’s Lancet article was retracted a few months later.
We have a lot of autistic people on this site who are in their 50s through 70s. I am 63 years old. What we have in common is that most of us were diagnosed well into middle age or later. That tells you some stories. One is that the diagnostic criteria has been greatly expanded since when we grew up. Only the most severe autistic children were diagnosed back then. When we grew up there were only a handful of vaccines at most given. Several historical figures from era’s when there were no vaccines are suspected by autistic experts of being autistic. They can not be conclusively diagnosed hundreds of years later but their autistic traits were documented.

The world has gotten more autistic unfriendly since the time I grew up in the 1960s and 70s. Our senses are more bombarded today, there is much more multitasking expected today, with all our devices we are expected to always be “on” socially. Autistic people who could function on some level in society back in the day are overwhelmed and need a diagnosis today,

Hi truthseeker
. Congratulations on having two beautiful sons! I have 2 sons and 1 daughter who are all on the autism spectrum. I myself am also on the spectrum(though was never immunised against anything at all ... unfortunately). I made sure all three of my children were immunised and there were no issues. The vaccine/autism link has been debunked and proven to be incorrect repeatedly now. I have worked with children on the spectrum and was a Nursery Nurse, having studied child development at University level. I can provide you with a developmental checklist for your son, but you sound very aware of the milestones, and we know that these developmental guidelines are just that, merely guidelines. Children will achieve these milestones in their own time, at their own pace, and some will be very early, some quite late, and others right on time.
If by the age of 2 years you still have concerns, then you might want to mention this at your son’s usual developmental check-up at clinic(assuming they do this in Croatia). I understand you’re merely looking for other parents who have experienced similar in their children. I have experienced this, particularly with my youngest son(who is now an adult at Uni). He was severely affected and did regress. But, the most important thing you can do as a parent is what you’re already doing. Love and acceptance and learning how to create a calm, secure and predictable environment for a child on the spectrum is very important. Learning how best to respond, and learning what particular behaviours really mean can make a world of difference, and help you to limit any meltdowns etc. It shows that you’re a very caring father that you’ve sought out others’ experiences here.
It had the same impact on me as a young child too. Unfortunately, my mother died a few months before I was due to start Infants School, and the changes knocked me sideways. I regressed speech-wise too, became mute. Anxiety is our most dominant emotion in autism. Will write some more later ... need to be somewhere

That does, though, leave the child with over two unprotected years between the end of the life of the antibodies passed from mother, to the first of the antibodies and memory B cells from the first of the vaccinations.
In addition to the 15 or so INACTIVATED or ATTENUATED viruses or just bits of virus in the controled dose at vaccination, the child is exposed to a hundred or more full strength infective virusses out in the wild, and if the child happens to meet the full strength version of the one they haven't had the chance to meet in inactivated or attenuated form in a vaccination first, then the child has to fend it off with only innate immune system for up to two weeks while the immune system gets the antibody and B cell response up to strength rather than a mere seven hours to get an even bigger antibody response to knock the infection down and down hard if they have had the vaccination at the earliest opportunity.
Measles is particularly nasty. The rash means it has already spread into the blood stream (Viremia) and every year a few children either had brain damage from measles from virus getting past the blood brain barrier into the brain, or sight damage if the virus managed to make it into the eye. The immune system does not operate in the eye or brain. Measles also knocks out memory B cells; that means a measles infection wipes out immunity one may have gained to other infections.

Look closely enough from birth onwards, and the signs are there from what I’ve seen. There were some clear signs from birth in myself, my three children and my brothers and sister, however subtle. The regression we see in children can be explained by the fact they are growing and developing ever more aware as the months pass, of that which they are dependent on in order to feel safe and secure. Initiate any change, eg take your baby to an airport, remove him/her from his familiar environment, take away his favourite comfort object, change your hair colour or uniform etc, invite a stranger(to the child) into your home and observe the reaction.
I don't think it is worth looking for a dx before the age of 5. In this country it is even impossible to get a dx. I am not sure why you are talking about vaccinations, surely you know your genetic disposition is the most likely cause. You should really look up on the science. Noone can give you a dx from description on the internet. Collect informed results about what symptoms your child has and go to your gp about it.
