How to stop slamming your head/body parts against the wall?
In My Humble Opinion (IMHO), severe panic attacks occur due to stress. Stress can build up similar to a glass being filled with water. When the water reaches the top of the glass it overflows. Stress is chemical (primarily cascades of hormones) which are released from the body and stored in the muscles/nervous system unless it is vented immediately. Stress when it overflows will turn into distress. These panic attacks are one form of distress.
So the trick is HOW DO YOU VENT THIS STRESS ENERGY?
To begin with, I suspect stress energy is stored in 6 areas of the human body. These are the core, the two arms, the two legs, and the neck.
To vent stress energy in the arms and the legs requires a very specific type of exercise called Maximal or Supramaximal exercise, interspersed with passive recovery intervals. One example of this exercise is running the 50 yard dash like a bat out of hell. This is followed by a one minute recovery rest. This process is repeated 10 times. This should vent the stored stress energy from the legs. A similar approach is used for the arms.
To vent stress energy from the core requires another type of exercise. An exercise that throws the body into “neurogenic tremors”. This exercise is called “TRE - Trauma Releasing Exercises”.
To vent stress energy in the neck, one needs to scream at the top of their lungs (in a socially acceptable manner).
