Without the full context, I can say that statement is no absolutely true, and guess that you are being bullied or discriminated against or have internalized such. My sister is not a college graduate and is not happy about that as a minority in her socio-economic class. I don't think any less of her, but she does or thinks most others do. She's right for certain folks and situations, but I don't know if that would be more or less of all people. My current fear is that Nobody Understands or Respects Me. I know that's not absolutely true, but it seems the people who hold power in my life (hire me, pay me fairly) are unfortunately mostly falling into the category. I would like to disarm the part I have internalized and find a group of folks with positive feedback.
