Too mny noisy kids. Didn't like school because of the many voices sounding at the same time. It was horrible! I would hide somewhere in the rain and get soked rather than go in the hall if it was raining at lunchtime as the noisy hall with hundreds of excited noisy voices was torture.
This is how my mind works when I read something. Your first line: "How do you slug walls?" I actually thought you meant my hand position, and I was already thinking that I was going to reply with my palm heel. Then I read, "Leave slimy trails?" I thought you meant my sweat. Then I read "Aren't snails easier to hold?" Didn't get what you meant by this until two seconds later when I made the connection between "snails" and "slug." And I thought, Yes, that IS funny. But you see how it went over initially in my head? The entire processing took about eight seconds. I wonder if this processing is indicative of autism.
I can handle many voices at once as long as they're not loud. Halls at school weren't that noisy. I hated the immaturity of the kids, though.
