Never mind, I remember now, he's the American radio host who said we should all get drunk to lessen our symptoms.
Which is a bit strange, because if having a few drinks takes some of the anxiety and stress away, it also lowers inhibitions, so like I do sometimes, I might do things that give me away, not as having AS, but as being slightly 'off the beam', like repetitive things such as moving backwards and forwards (sometimes called 'rocking', but not violent or extreme), when I am sitting down (which I do at home all the time, but never in public), not concentrating to make sure I am not smiling at 'nothing' even if I am thinking about things I find funny. (Allt his after just two pints, I might add).
Taking much fun out of life, which is how I function in 'stealth' mode most of them time. Perhaps the American radio show host should remember that Alcohol can lower inhibitions, not raise them. And besides, a few personal quirks and oddities ins't going to do anyone any harm, is it?
