I think its a stim but I seem to be the only one. with it
I do the same thing, I love rubbing cool fabric between my fingers. Actually helps me go to sleep at night, part of why my blanket fell apart I think.

I would hate to lose my baby blanket, it's irreplaceable. I'm sorry to hear that you lost something so important to you.
