I start responses with "I suppose" all the time.

My son repeats commercials a lot-especially if they have a jingle. He once was singing "You gotta choose Fusz..." (a car sales commercial for Lou Fusz), then immediately after singing it he asked me probably 50 questions about where we got our car and why we didn't go there.

Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is full of fun quotes. My daughter says "It's hot in Topeka" in response to a lot of things, and I always say "I like chocolate milk!" or "Now we're brother ladies." and my son says "I like potatoes" a lot and "I am Pierre!! !"

I also like this quote from the show Whose Line is it Anyway? "I'm not really a priest, I just have my shirt on backwards."

"Only on Tuesdays" is another I use a lot...

Geez, there are a lot of them. My latest thing is singing the happy song from Sifl and Olly:

and saying "did you hear something TAD?" (also Sifl and Olly):

Most of this stuff I don't really say if others are around. I do "bwa ha ha ha ha!" a lot when they are there, but that's about it I think... I might have to respond again later, now I'll be watching for it, lol.

Actually I say "the Bears" just like Chris Farley from that Saturday Night Live sketch... superfans I think. It makes me laugh instantly whenever I remember it... just go "the bears, the bears, the bears..... the bears, the bears, the bears."

Much like the Robin from the 1960s show, I just stick "holy" in front of regular words. My current one is "Holy cheese!"

I'm also stuck on saying the word "Aspergers" to myself repeatedly right now.

much of what i say is from a movie or book or song. or some hacked together version.

like instead of saying, "Hasta la vista, baby!" i'll say "Pasta la vista, baby!" whenever i'm making pasta - which is often as that's the main thing my 4yo eats.

whenever anyone is looking for something, "it can't have gone for, it doesn't have legs."

i'll randomly start singing, "i can see clearly now, my brain is gone..."

and so forth, and so on.

My catchphrase is, "Are you mad at me?"

It drives my family crazy.

Oh no! I say exactly the same phrase in a bad Schwartzenager accent.

I also tend to pick up silly catch lines from movies, songs and irritating TV adverts and say them for months at a time to my wife for no apparent reason.
My favourite at the moment is one for beefburgers where someone says "Hmmm Charal" with a rich vibrant voice.

Lots of my phrases are quite ridiculous and childish (I'm 47 going on 4).

"Yes but, no but"

"I'm coming to get you" - In the tone of an ogre

"I'll be back" - In Arnie's voice

"I need a pee pee" - God how embarrassing I can't believe I admitted this one.

"Hello! Need a loan from 1800 to 16000?" - in the voice of that big blue telephone that is sat talking to a woman on a sofa.

Lots of other phrases have come and gone over the years. They all tend to be phrases with a silly or singing type voice attached.

I often find myself inserting quotes I've heard or read into my arguments during a discussion.

I've had many phrases that I've gotten stuck on. A popular one right now is the phrase so often said in House (the TV show): "It could be lupus." I offer that whenever anyone is speculating the cause of something. Like, "Why are there dirty spoons in the dish drainer...?" "It could be lupus!"

Nah, it's never Lupus.

I have a habit of saying "theoretically a lot, and also "well actually".

My common "social" phrases are internet memes.
I usually use them when overstimulated.

Mine tend to be
"I'll be back" - in a bad accent
"Fairies nuts" - Fair enough
Any form of word or statement that changes a sentence from a definite into a chance (eg. probably, in theory, etc)
"Ave" - Latin :D :D

For example I will sometimes say thank you when I mean to say good bye or your welcome.

I do that a lot, or I'll put a prolonged "orrr" at the end of a sentence, for example: "Do you want me to go upstairs orrr....?"

Come to think of it, I probably sound very silly when I do that.

Also have an affinity to run phrases into the ground, according to my friends. I repeated 3-4 lines from Borat more times than I care to remember, the B-52's Rock lobster song nearly every day for the past 2 months, as well as constant references to my favorite television show of all time: Mystery Science Theater 3k.

Randomly at times I find myself saying, with the accent "You're all going to die down here.." a quote from Resident Evil. This one has stuck with me for years now..

And a funny one, for about a week I've been stuck on repeating the word "echolalia" I just love how it flows out of my mouth  And thanks to my daughters obsession of Spongebob, I have quotes, "Yes! Yes! It’s true! It’s all true! The merriment, the peanut, the Patrick!" and songs, "Its the best day everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!" popping out at random times.

Earlier I realized I was repeating outloud quietly the main chorus line of a popular car sales advertisement and that I'd been doing it all day.
