My 7 year old son has been called the following by his classmates: crazy, strange, weird, smart and dinosaur boy. Other parents say their kids come home and talk about how incredibly smart he is.

My 9 year old son has been called LOUD, smart and weird.

My husband has been called loner, aloof, pedantic, doughy and intelligent.

Slow -- my monotonous and paced voice; my slow and sloth-like movements
Shifty -- my lack of eye contact
Strong -- my inability to care for external pain
Stupid -- I had the lowest marks in high school out of the hundreds there

What adjectives (negative, positive, or neutral) have been used by NTs when commenting on your behaviour (presuming you're an aspie!)? To start the ball rolling, I have been called in the past:

gormless !

I want to get a feel for how NTs perceive aspies.

Gormless! Now there's a word you don't hear much anymore.

No one really called me names in school, Other than been in the geeks group, & bullys under estimating me when starting a fight & me ending up outside the head teachers office, with me been blamed as the one starting it, I had Gf's in school, no one really new about me going to special reading lessons or spelling either:-

Can tell you how my tutor describes me,

polite,
Intellegent,
shy,
Keeps to himself,
quiet.

Worse person really was my German Teacher...

Argh, forgot loser and boring . . .

My mother has a theory about the world (or so she says). She thinks the world is divided up into two types: Burts and Ernies. She says I'm a Burt because my interests are about as boring as his paper clip collection.

In school:
*weird
*ugly
*smart
*strange
*crazy
*dork
*tomboy
*freak
*sensitive

More recently:
*aloof
*shy
*quiet
*snob
*cranky
*distracted

Yeah, I realize most of those were in fact nouns rather than adjectives, but that's what I've been called.
