I think maybe autism makes us good at being independent and individuals because we have to be.

I don't know if the two are related, but I have a terrible sense of direction. I especially screw up East and West even on highways I driven on regularly for years.

Hi: I also don't have a great sense of direction.

A deficit of mine.

Yet I have a memory sometimes ten times better than the average Neurotypical person.


I need to find a suitable operating strategy as soon as possible.


A very intelligent friend of mine wrote to me weeks ago that he knows at least a dozen ways to do it.


And he is Autistic like us who have this deficit.
