This book review really rubbed me the wrong way
I understand both sides.
Not wanting the child to feel bad or guilty and it would be wrong of the mother to do that in a deliberate way over time.
But at the same time caring for someone with a brain condition is hard and can be savage sometimes.
Sometimes people will complain or say regretable things in time of stress.
So you have to cut these people a bit of slack rather than pounce on any verbal thought crime or invent your own narrative involving some sort of abuse.
