I can fly, breathe fire out of my mouth , cause earthquakes, and turn the sky red.

I am also a scryer for metal states, like depression. If I focus, I can intervene because I feel the shockwaves of an emotional outburst like anger, anxiety and depression. I'm seeing my shrink for the first time today.

Wouldn't it be nice if we Aspies had super-duper-special powers... but what we are is human, like everyone else - but different.

If you could chart out all typical human traits, like academic abilities, learning, reasoning, artistic abilities, social abilities, etc, we'd have higher average scores in intellect, artistic skills, concentration, etc, and LOWER scores in social abilities and everything associated with them, as well as lower physical scores since apparently "clumsiness" is notable.

Same basic human structure, with a few wires moved around which enhance some areas and reduce others. It's just tradeoffs.

UNFORTUNATELY, many NT's don't see this as a tradeoff but see the deficiency in one or two areas and assume an air of superiority.

Careful - we Aspies can do the same thing when we see NT's floundering intellectually, or being led by the nose because of social dependency. We could help each other if both sides let it.


...but that's Utopian talk there.

My trusty harpoon weapon attached inside my hand is my most lethal weapon. I can also remove my face and reveal just a skull, and breathe fire in that state. Also, lets not forget how I can summon hell fire. And of course I can teleport.
But I have 1 foe that just won't leave me alone! I've destroyed many but this 1 guy just keeps staying up... he can freeze people and has a sword made of ice... what do I do with this guy??? How can I get him off my back!? hmm...

No, no super powers. I guess savant skills would be the closest thing to a super power.

I agree with ghostgurl on this one, nobody has "super powers", just aspies are generally more conscious, less restricted by social norms, and have higher intelligence. I think it's evolution at work, but it's not "super powers"..... Though I do find a jewish/asperger connection interesting, as jews are slightly more evolved than other pre-dominantly NT cultures, enough to where I wouldn't doubt that they could somehow have been our predeccessor stage in evolution. But, I have nothing to base that off of except a few cultural similarities.

Have you all watched the movie "Lady in the Water"? You really must. Story, the main character (the Lady) is clearly autistic. You'll understand when you watch.
