Ah, so maybe it is a circulation thing. Funny how I instinctively prefer it. But I get hypotension when I stand up to get a cup of tea, and I'm not sure if that would make it worse, because of the way that kind of hypotension works. It's becoming less of an issue, possibly because I suspect it's linked to postprandial hypotension so I'm eating smaller meals.

Currently I don't bother putting my feet up when I'm sitting on the sofa because it's a tiny apartment and a support would clutter it up even more. But I spend a lot of time sitting upright on my bed with some pillows to set me at my preferred angle. If I sit on the sofa to use my laptop, the cat jumps up and sits on it, but for some reason she doesn't jump onto the bed anything like so often.
