Myself, Participant626 and Marshall Mathers III

Woah woah woah... excuse me?? I'm just a regular guy. I don't know why all the fuss about me.

But seriously, Marshall Mathers III is one of my top 3 too. He's my top 1, but also in the top 3. He's actually the only musician I have a playlist of.

Then, there's funeralxempire. They're a prolific user on here with legitimate contributions and viewpoints.

Participant626 seems like a bit of a mess. I guess we can appreciate their forthcoming report and confusion, but I don't think that's something to admire. Perhaps reconsider?

I used to know a guy in my neighborhood who would walk around and just straight up ask people, "what do you think about [whatever he happened to be thinking about]?" or even "why do some people do [something he noticed another person doing]?" He was much beloved.

My husband, obviously.

There's a guy at my local mall, who I don't know if he's autistic or not, but I admire him because he's always wearing a cape and a top hat with horns and goggles on it, and from his facial expressions, he clearly does not give a **** what anyone else thinks. Very powerful. I love to see that in young people.

Paul Dirac, who got a Nobel prize in physics. His work was foundational for the invention of the semiconductor later on. All the gadgets we use - to even so much as get to this forum - have vast numbers of semiconductors. Dirac was the man. Can you even imagine a world with no computers, smartphones, tablets, internet, etc? Few can even conceive of a world with no semiconductors - it would be back to medieval times with scurvy, and thatched roofs.

I am impressed by the courage and determination of Greta Thunberg.

It was fun to read the diverse and wide ranging feedback here on this topic, thank you for creating the post Participant626.

my ASD admiration goes out to:
- All of us hanging in there another day in a NT society. after childbirth, one of life's great miracles

Some feedback for the self reporting peers: It is always a good thing to stop comparing ourselves to others and to thus avoid any jealousy, mis-estimations, or undue coveting...
As I say to my kids: compare yourself only to yourself of yesterday.
BUT
Having stated this; selecting yourself as a target for admiration is one step too far for me personally.
I've seen and felt enough of the world to know what a small, precious but small, part of it I take up.
So I aim upwards and to know my strengths and my weaknesses. Thus precluding self-admiration
