have u ever get shot by tranzquilers?

Both will knock you out in large enough doses.

Benzodiazepines are classed a minor tranquilizers
neuroleptics are major tranquilizers

The major tranquilizers aren't really stronger than minor tranquilizers. It's true both knock you out but they are different in what they do to you. Neuroleptics make you calm and docile but don't directly impair the central nervous system function. Benzodiazepines work directly on the CNS and make you feel a little wobbly/drunk before knocking you out. The stronger version of benzos is barbituates, but those can kill you easily if you overdose and generally aren't given to people "out patient" anymore. A lot of people got killed by abusing and ODing on barbs back in the 50s when doctors prescribed them. You'd think they'd call barbituates "major tranquilizers". It's so confusing. :roll: :lol:
