I don't know, but I find myself intensely irritated when someone reels out a load of textbook style facts at me to something I say or ask... I mean, I suppose I have learnt through other means, and tend to give my own interpretation to things.
It seems to me that some aspies, rather than being just experts on their special interests, siphon in information on anything and everything, ready to spew out at the earliest available opportunity.
I don't do that... I cannot do that. I used to be able to do that as a child maybe, but these days, I find my memory far too poor, my concentration poor.
In short, I only learn in depth about special interests, and usually only have 1, maybe 2 of those at any one time.
I seem unable to make myself learn about all kinds of things... even though I might like to have as much knowledge.
Sounds kind of like me, which may be in part why I have trouble making friends.
Now to answer the question posed in the subject line: Those who aren't full of facts are full of shît.
Rubbish.
And actually, everyone is full of s**t, facts or not, since all humans have a digestive system.
