It would have been higher when I was younger, as many of the questions would have been answered differently many years ago, owing to the training I have received in NT emulation...

Main LSAS-score: 73 of 144
You have marked social phobia

Again, some things that I was once averse to no longer apply, so my score is lower than it would have been...

My biggest problem with this is my scores vary and all because I can't always memorize what I put for answers the time before either... but still score pretty high.

Interesting. Highest Aspie score I've had thus far. If I'm not mistaken, the questions are randomized, which makes me wonder how reliable any such test is.

Hee! Going off track for a sec -- do you self-narrate? I catch myself doing this sometimes, where I suddenly notice that I'm examining my own thoughts from a sort of third person perspective.

Man, I thought I was the only one that did that!! ! It is as though my life is being told through third person narrative. I actually think "she said" or "she thought" sometimes for myself!

Only the order in which the questions appear is randomized. The reason for this is to get more reliable question-question correlations (they tend to increase if similar questions are placed after each others).

Another reason is that the five control question pairs should be randomly ordered so people don't know which questions are used for consistency checks. ;-)

A third reason is to "mix-up" the ordinary questions that counts with experimental question that are being evaluated. Currently, 17 questions are experimental.

I cannot explain the scale used in LSAS. I've just used the same scale as the original test. However, it is pretty clear already that Aspies often get high scores on LSAS and that just being Aspie will predispose you to get high LSAS score.

Blimey that's depressing, lol, ahh well, but I do enjoy taking online tests, btw, didn't know who to mention it to, but there was 'you' missing on Question 102, dunno though if it's the same order each time though, anywho, I said it!

I have diagnosed Social Anxiety btw, so it's not exactly a surprise the score on that being high.
Bugs :D
