I have this difficulty and I am stright forward and explain to people about AS and the trait of being bad with face recognition because the part of the brain that deals with it can be less developed in people on the spectrum. I have never had a any negative response to my explantion.

My problem is that i can't use AS in my explanation because I am not diagnosed.

Im rubbish wid names but i can remember ppls faces without a problem.
