I enjoy making clicking sounds with my tongue and popping noises with my lips. I also like the semi-white noise created by the dish washer and most other kinds of soothing white noise.

Classical music is also a comforting stim when I am experiencing high anxiety, so that I listen and rock and nod until I calm down.

There is a guitar riff on Metallica's "Load" album, track twelve, that gives me the shivers when I hear it. It's awaesome!
I also like the sound of welding, the "bzzz" sound. And the crackling of electricity. Electricity fascinates me. :D

I also find the sound of distant rumbling thunder quite soothing as well.

Then you'd probably love the "Symphony #2 for Dot Matrix Printers". It was a sequel (in spirit, at least) to the symphony for office equipment (which used typewriters and filing cabinets). Our (Canadian) tax dollars at work....

There is a cool looking machine at work that makes a thumpa-thumpa sound that I find particulary sastifing. I sometimes go off track just to pass it!

You know, a nearby high school just started their drum band practice this evening and I really found it soothing (in the distance that is).
