A device which helps you locate your stuff in case you lose them or don't remember where they went. I'm thinking you'll probably have to put a barcode sticker on the item, have the device scan it, then if it goes missing and if you want to find it, it will probably tell you how far away it is, and when you walk, if you're getting closer or farther away from it. But with the technology we have now, we could probably already have made some items like that already, but used for a different purpose rather than a domestic one. I'll bet that Mechanics or Popular Science magazine already has an article or short blurb about such an item already.

I'd love to unlock cold fusion theory- imagine all the worlds bickering over oil, uranium and the other one million things that we kill and maim one another for in the name of power and greed obliterated instantly- the ultimate world power equaliser.

On a more realistic note I would like to invent cars powered by electro magnetics and babys nappies with a bio degradable centre section that you simply rip out along a perforated edge and just flush down the toilet without killing the planet or resorting to the impractical cloth nappies

Hyperspace engines. They would cancel out the only thing stopping mankind from going further into space... extreme distance.

well, first i wanted a PONY. i was probably 4 or 5?

so second, i decided to invent something to make money to buy a pony.

(i invented a sprinkler.) but i did not know all the techinical words for how to make it, plus, this was before the internet, so i did not know how to go about patents or anything.

so, i eventually gave up on it, and because obsessed with THE INVENTION, which (i guess i still am obsessed with.) was a plug that i could plug into my brain, and then my head would show up on TV or in another person's brain and they would get what i was talking about for once and so i wouldn't have to deal with misunderstandings ever again.

A bedroom system whereby the brain would be hooked up via electrodes and if it was too active, would set off a series of calming room systems, such as gently changing lights, music more likely to send the brain into the right waves, soothing smells etc.

Ever since I was little I've wanted to create working nanosized robots, that can construct anything. Nanotech used to be an obsession of mine. I've dreamed up entire underground cities created by billions of nano-built tools that create perfect modular houses and communities, robotic morphing bodies, carving the worlds landscape with my mind etc.

lol, okay... I've been thinking and thinking, and I think I just have a crappy imagination, lol, because I can just think of an ink pen that never runs out of ink.... papermate, of course, blue ink, lol.

Maybe the reason I'm thinking of this is I had to "bury" 5 of my pens today. I've been keeping them around, hoping that they will magically start working again and all, and I just came out of denial today... okay, that's just sad after reading that, but it's still true, lol. I have a BIG attachment to blue papermate ink pens.
