I'm seriously thinking about leaving...
Comments like that are like sticking a knife into the back of someone that works hard.
There should be more understanding of those that cannot.
However, it wil not automaticly mean that everyone is happy to forcibly donate a large part of theyr paycheck to them.
Where i live there are plenty of workplaces for those who cannot hold regular jobs.
So mostly everyone that isn't lazy does some kind of job.
Even the most physically and mentally disabled people here work.
>>>>>>I don't feel like I'm wanted here. No one talks to me, & those who do only want to yell at me because I don't work. I have posted several times that I can't work, & still, they don't care. I am getting so sick of coming on here & reading what total strangers thing I can do when they don't even know me.
I myself don't work. And I haven't since I got out of school. My husband supports me. I don't really think in my case its that I can't work. Its more like I don't think I would enjoy working at most places. What really helped for my husband, was at my insistence, learning how to program. Then he was able to get a better paying job. He is a terrible teacher though and doesn't really want to show me stuff. He gets really into his math or programing and then he doesn't want to be disturbed with anything. He gripes everyday when he comes home from work about things like worrying about what his co worker thinks of him. Because he was treated so poorly at his last two jobs, he is always waiting for the ball to drop on him.
I don't really know your situation, so I don't think people should be so quick to judge about working or not. You know, its them who don't want to do things our way, well fine then, we can just sit there and take up space until they change their minds.
Drama. If you're going to leave, do it, it doesn't require an attention-seeking post. If you get something out of the forum, it would be foolish to go, but that would be your choice. If it is a purely negative experience for you here, then I agree you should leave.
As for your employment status, don't be so defensive. If you feel justified, why explain yourself? Others' opinions will ALWAYS differ from our own, for better or for worse. You can't get the whole world to agree with you, ever, on any topic. That's just normal, not a sign of you not being wanted.

Oh i agree with you that as you described is the correct way but then we are living in a very materialistic and definitely dishonest, wasteful and unfair society where the rich plunder and kill the poor and oppressed and unemployment being an artificial construct to suit the purpose of society and all the while our governments waste billions on killing people.
Why should i care?

It's too bad, because some of the things on this board are quite interesting to read.
But I just can't take the whole "being harassed about not working" thing anymore. It is really upsetting me.
So I think I'm just going to leave.
Leaving da forum isn't a good idea besides every1 wid AS is an indivdual n every1 on dis forum likes u n im ur 1st so da only way we can sort dis mess out is 2 4get about ticker n fink optimistic dis way u can overcome some of da barriers its not gonna b easy but it can b done trust me.
Doesn't it take more mental effort to write netbonics than it does to just spell the words correctly? Just looking at that jumbled mess of crap makes me want to scream.

hey wait, i thought i was the only person who collected fruit stickers. I always peel them off my fruit and stick them on my shirt in an attempt to keep from littering. Seriously, stitch... you still have some support here. There are some proverbial 'turds in the punchbowl' around, but they exist everywhere. We all may have different spectrum degrees, which make us different and kind of diverse. You may not be able to work now, but perhaps you can take things slowly at your own pace. Its good to jump out there sometimes and test yourself. You might be surprised. You wrote that total strangers were yelling at you.... dont sweat it. They are, after all total strangers and dont know you. How can any of us get to know you if you leave? Please dont feel bad about not being able to work. There is a common mindset that connects a person's worth with their work abilities. Does that mean the elderly and the sick are worthless? Its sad that our society isnt able to take up the slack for others when they need it. I have two ears and am a great listener. Focus on what you can do for now and maybe you will find an answer.

Because the government is not(****NO**** government BY DEFINITION IS!) big enough to cause the waste you talk about! It is the IDIOTS with thoughts like you just expressed that do it. By doing so, others have to work harder. They CAN'T, so they have to make more per hour. They CAN'T, so prices are raised.
IRONICALLY, THAT is why poor people can make HUNDREDS of dollars a year and STILL be poor. A millionare USED to be RICH! Today, even a BILLIONARE might have to budget to afford what millionares used to be able to afford.
BTW I am not even a millionare. And to say that you are ripping off the government and see no problem with it because the government makes it harder on people like me is ABSURD! THEY are not the problem, YOU are! THAT is why the government will hire people like you that are unwilling and/or unable to do the work, give you all sorts of benefits, entitlements, a pension, etc.... And THEN, on top of it, require businesses to take losses so you can "get by". And they STILL laugh at people like me when we complain that we can't retire in modest comfort at 65 after spending MILLIONS for the right to do so.
You are SERIOUSLY NOT helping!
spazmaticstitch,
Frankly I can't recall a case where you said anything to elicit such a reaction. You shouldn't leave just because of one person, in such a case.
As for not talking to you, WHO CARES? NOBODY here should be able to win a popularity contest.
Hardly. She started this massive thread complaining about someone, then couldnt take it when predictably someone fought back. You have to be able to take what you dish out, its the way of the world.
OK, I'm going to have to check that out. If spazmaticstitch was responsible, the backlash shouldn't have been a surprise.

Not a fan of western governmental activities then?

Yeah, my grandmother went through all of that emotional turmoil after she got dementia. She is still going through it. I think it is really hard on her since all her life she prided herself on her housekeeping ability and how much she could do. My cat, on the other hand, is extremely happy for no apparent reason. She just likes it that I pet her, even though her food and warm bed is all provided for her. She doesn't seem to care that she isn't making a living or doing useful work. Sometimes I call her a worthless pet, but she has this prideful look, that no amount of trying to make her feel ashamed of herself will ever fix. But really I don't see how she could be a worthless pet since she makes me feel so good.
