I was researching my loose ligament condition when I found a Wikipedia article on Aspergers. I have (on my mother's side) more cousins than Cheech and many (if not all) are gifted, with loose ligaments, odd eyes, and MASSIVE AS traits.
The loose ligaments are hertiable, as is high IQ. We're descended from a Brehon line, hereditary judges whose position required strong rote memory skills, as most laws were an oral tradition:

I think that's why I suck so hard at math. That side of the family are all lawyers, teachers, and police.
Knowing this is what caused me to find out about AS, and I found that there are other hertiable traits as well such as those from the Fragile X, which I have to one degree or another:

The Jews were, for centuries, the only ones allowed to lend money for profit in Christian Europe due to the sin of usury. Jews were not allowed to do much else except die or go away, so they took up banking. This was risky business, and required not only mathematical ability but a high degree of machiavellianism. (Note that Jews, like the Irish, have hereditary lawyers too - kohanim, mostly seen now as the surname Cohen, one of the 12 tribes of Israel.)
When lords and kings needed money, they went to the Jews. When they couldn't pay it back, well, looks like it's time for a good old fashioned pogrom! This is a brutal, sickening Darwinian process that results in high generalized problem solving ability with an added boost in dealing with figures. (A Jewish friend from a few years ago used to always know the best deal on anything, loved to go to the store with you and haggle on your behalf, talked superfast, smoked those self-assembled cigarettes, and was one of the kindest, funniest, most generous people I've ever met. There is a difference between cheap and thrifty. Didn't stop me from teasing him and calling him a "dirty Jew-bastard" and stuff, which he found pretty funny.)
So what happens is that this process of natural selection caused certain traits which all humans have to be amplified in European (aka Ashkenazi Jews), who did end up running the modern banks of Europe.
The market crash and hyperinflation of Weimar currency was the fault of the German government, not the Jews. When your people have run banks for 1500 years, you have an idea of what's a good idea and what's a bad idea, and printing worthless paper money is not one of the former.
They were a convenient scapegoat.
"The banks have money, we have money problems, Jews run banks, uh, uh, kill Jews?" That's the level of reasoning we're dealing with.
The "science" that the National Socialist German Worker's Party touted was completely against what the actual evidence said, but that didn't matter because it was a massive worldwide trend among other leftist Progressives, like Woodrow Wilson and FDR, Planned Parenthood and the Harvard faculty. The Japanese were thought to be ret*d barbarians too.
The Jews were no untermenschen, in fact they were the opposite. They weren't stupid moral degenerates out to fleece everyone, they were the bizarrely intelligent architects of modern banking and law which made our world what it is today.
So, yeah, I guess there are similarities between aspies and Jews.
