Oh yeah I find it as easy and natural as breathing. I was well taught by my father (he did have AS). No one ever knows I am doing it but because of morals I try to only do it appropriatly not for selfish and "bad" reasons. I really learned how to do it in self-preservation and to extract myself from situations. It was a great way to survive in an NT world. ;)

I have also found that you can really use the truth to manipulate people and situations and still be able to say it is the truth. This is really when I have to watch myself because I can really justify this behavior.

I do have to say that I have never been able to do this with people with certian PDD's just with NTs. Anyone that can seperate from their emotions and look at something analiticaly can see what I am doing.

I'm pretty rough with myself as far as pointing out my own shortcomings, and I honestly don't think I'm manipulative most of the time, but I can be every so often. I'd be surprised if very many people were never manipulative, which is not to say it's right to be manipulative, but to say I don't think it's an abnormally present trait in my character.

Well, does anyone enjoy manipulating? I get a kick out of toying with people's minds and making them question everything, doubt themselves and their own actions. It's sort of like a power trip. Anyone?

Yes and I live with someone that enjoys it also. I was also born to someone that did it for entertainment. :D

I thoroughly enjoy it... Manipulating not only people's perception, but also their arguments so it looks like they're not arguing for what they were... I get immense enjoyment out of it... That and the fact it comes so easily to me, scares the pants off me.

Yes I was thinking this was starting to sound like flirting.

GA Vetivert and I just must be attracted to pantless manipulators   I know I have plenty of proof that that is my preference in a person. ;)
