Husband of a lighthouse keeper 150 years ago.

Good fortune,

For me a probation officer sounds good; you have a reason to talk to people and interact with them, and there are specific rules of engagement :D

Perhaps an architect.

Wait! I am an architect! Does that explain my bouncy walk?

PS I allways liked Seinfield's Costanza and a great line "I always wanted to pretend that I'm an architect." I pretend so well that my buildings get built!

Yip!

I'm a physiotherapist at a major teaching hospital. One of the Consultants (who is Aspie!) is currently researching a lung cancer breath test. It won't be ready for a few years. But when it is, all you have to do is blow into a portable machine and it will detect lung cancer very early! How cool is that!

Siuan, I'll have to get a job in a hospital with you one day. I love working with enthusiastic people.

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Here's a list of a few that would make me quiver with happiness (and believe me, it's weird and not often that I quiver with happiness!)

1) Test Engineer (i.e. smashing cars into walls, or demolition, or seeing something blow up to determine how much force or pressure that a test item can take)

2) Demolitian

3) Lego Builder (yes - there is such a job - look at www.lego.com)

4) Research Mathematician

5) designing and building keyboards

6) drummer or keyboardist in a progressive rock or progressive metal band

7) Writer and idea maker for the looniest cartoon that I can create!

8) Cartoon music composer

Hmm...there are others, but I would have to think further to determine what those are.

Wow, awesome job!! !! Yes, enthusiastic people are much more fun to work with. I can't understand when I see people working in a large hospital who seem lethargic and uninterested in their work. I know some people do it just because "it's a job". It's sad to me that there are so many people who feel that way. I'd be quite enthusiatic about getting to work, being at work, and doing my work.

The lung cancer test I'd heard something about recently, and the thought of emerging technologies like that get me pretty excited. When I think of the amazing possibilities on the horizon for better diagnostic reliability, earlier detection and treatment of diseases and innovative people bringing these bright ideas to fruition, I want to be right there as it happens. In every aspect of healthcare, new diagnostic tools and treatments make better, healthier, more fulfilling lives possible for a lot of people. (And the tech part of it - it's like putting a kid in a candy store giving me info like this lol)

Heh, sorry to go on and on. This isn't just my career interest, medicine is also my "special interest". I read medical books for fun :nerdy:

First of all, I would work for myself so my dream businesses are:
Co-own a bakery and catering busniness with my daughter
Own my own recording studio.
Be a cinematographer ( I know, I'd have to work with others *sigh*)
Be a famous writer
Be a famous artist
Be a famous song writer
Be a famous photographer( I know, there's that working with people thing again)
When I say famous? I mean wealthy because of the fame. Fame would be despicable.
If I were wealthy, I'd own a huge, no-kill animal shelter with a huge website, to help hook them up with prospective human companions, and I'd ship the animals for free to the new owners. Huge tax write off, I just realized, :P but of course I'd need some if I were wealthy...hmmmm, this could work! Now I just have to get wealthy.... 8)
